I'm
Steve Llewellyn. The Pool started as an idea I had about six years
ago. God has brought the idea through many changes during that
time to become what it is now. But one of the things that has
remained at the core is the desire to use art to communicate truth to
people. God reveals His Truth to those who seek Him and believe in
His Son. As one of those people, I want to share what I understand
with others. Artistic expression has been part of how I interact with the world around me for almost as long as I can remember. I started drawing as soon as I could hold a crayon. In the span from childhood to adulthood, my experiences have broadened greatly. I've given varying degrees of attention to nearly every art form I can think of - music, drawing, painting, sculpture, theatrical arts, writing...I admit, I lack experience in the dance department. The other thing which I've pursued since early childhood is a growing relationship with God. This hasn't been easy - when Jesus said that the road is narrow, he wasn't kidding! But what I've gained, the daily reality I experience of life in Him, and even more, the amazing promise of what is to come - these are more than worth any struggle I may go through. And I encourage you to pursue him doggedly, relentlessly - even as He pursues you! |
