Recommendations
These are our recommendations, various things that the Pool has seen or
read or done that we recommend to you!
Above all, we want to let you
know that we recommend the Bible. It’s the written, inspired word of God
and nothing compares to it!
We also want to say that these recommended items
have varying degrees of alignment with the Bible. Some of the
recommendations are expressly Christian; some are not. The value we find
in those of secular origin is their applicability in helping us understand
or appreciate some spiritual truth. This doesn’t “sanctify” them, by
the way. It simply means that God may take a portion of something from the
world and teach you His lesson from it. And that may not even be the
lesson intended by the person who produced the piece in question.
